DIY Assembly Table
I salvaged this old desk in the aftermath of a spring semester at Chico State University.
There is a student apartment complex known locally as the "Animal House". At the end of each semester, the
students abandon a lot of stuff out in front and in the parking lot of the complex. I salvaged this
desk about 8 years ago. It is extremely sturdy and the top is dead on flat. The top is some sort of hard
plastic laminate and glue scrapes right off of it. It is the perfect hight for assembly. I store sand paper and
fasteners in the drawers.
